The confluence of the Falling Bridge River and the Chaotang Hengjiang River is the downstream section of the river, and the main source of pollution is agricultural surface pollution. There is more vegetation cover along the river, removing the algae outbreak phenomenon of seasonal high temperature, and it is in a good ecological state on a daily basis, but rainfall scouring will cause pesticides and fertilizers to enter the river and cause pollution from agricultural surface sources.
The source of pollution in this section of the river is mainly agricultural surface pollution, which leads to the elevation of ammonia nitrogen, total phosphorus, permanganate index and other indicators in the river; the use of pesticides and fertilizers will also cause pollution of urban rivers, China's unit of arable land area of pesticide fertilizer inputs for the developed countries about 10 times, a large number of pesticide fertilizers by the scouring of the river into the urban rivers, seriously contaminated the quality of the water in the urban rivers. River itself more sediment, and aquatic plants less, the river self-purification ability is poor, pollution inputs have no way to absorb, diffusion, resulting in unstable and high river indicators; the release of pollutants in the water sediment eutrophication of the water body, and may contain some toxic substances, the bottom of the pollutants produced by anaerobic fermentation of nitrogen and methane leading to the floating of the substrate caused by the body of water blackened and smelly.
